Impress Nails
'The new innovation from Broadway offers an exciting
nail collection which is easy to apply , doesn't damage the nail bed, is long
lasting with high shine and comes in a variety of colours and patterns for the
ultimate fashionable look'
This is what Broadway have to say about there new Impress nails. I for one avoid false nails like the plague, I've never had a good experience with them. They end up being a pain to apply & then when you finally take them off your nails are left damaged. So when these arrived for me to try I was excited but extremely apprehensive.
Cons - The slight gap that appeared between the nail & my nail bed.
Impress nails are available from pharmacies nationwide. The block colours retail for $7.99 & the pattern nails retail for $9.99

You get 24 nails in
a range of 12 sizes. Each nail comes with a plastic tab that you gently remove
to apply to your nail. Broadway definitely make it sound easy & the pictures
on the back of the pack make it look easy & it really was. It took me less
than 5 minutes to apply all the nails. A quick swipe of the cleansing wipe, peel
off the tab, stick to my nails & I was done.
The sizes &
shapes were a perfect fit meaning there was no filing & even better it meant
there was no awkward moments trying to use my nails afterwards. We've all had
that moment your trying to send a text when your wearing false nails & it
just doesn't work. I had none of this. I even had some comments from strangers
complimenting my nails & when I told them they were stick ons they were
shocked.
Broadway claim they
can last up to a week when applied properly. I applied mine late on Monday night
& removed them on Friday night purely because I was planning on doing some
DIY on Saturday so I didn't want the nails to get covered in paint. I took
pictures each day, the pictures all look the same purely because the nails
lasted so well.
The only downside
to the nails were on Wednesday a tiny gap appeared between my nail bed & the
nail which meant any time I was doing anything with my hair it would get caught
between the gap & pull.
Removal was easy, a
quick dab of nail varnish remover & the nails peeled off. My own nails
underneath weren't damaged in the slightest in fact they were looking healthier
than before.
Pros - Long
lasting natural looking nails which are perfect if you have an event to attend
or your heading away for a few days & don't have time for a
manicure.
Cons - The slight gap that appeared between the nail & my nail bed.
